How do I receive my
digital securities after a purchase?

Secure management of digital securities

To manage your purchased digital securities, you need a wallet. A wallet works in a similar way to a securities deposit account.

What is a wallet?

A wallet is comparable to a securities deposit account and has a public address similar to an “IBAN”. By entering the address, the digital securities will be credited to you after the issuance. The address also enables investors to transfer securities between themselves. When buying digital securities via Cashlink, we offer you these three options:

  1. You can use the integrated wallet in combination with the Cashlink SafeKeeping App. The setup takes only a few minutes and the service is free of charge for you.
  2. You can use the compatible wallet of our partner Finoa.
  3. You can use any ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallet.

What advantages do the individual solutions offer?

Integrated Cashlink wallet

Creating a secure wallet with Cashlink only takes a few minutes. You confirm every transaction in your wallet with the Cashlink SafeKeeping App on your smartphone as a second factor. In this way we ensure that third parties do not have access to your digital securities.

Your wallet offers many functions, such as a portfolio overview and the free transfer of securities to other investors.

During the setup of the Cashlink SafeKeeping App you will receive a security code that you can use to restore the app if you want to change your device.

1-click setup via licensed partner

In addition to the option of self-custody, we also offer you the possibility of keeping your digital securities with our licensed partner Tangany. Your wallet is also integrated into your dashboard at Cashlink.

One click is all it takes to set it up. Your wallet offers many features, such as a portfolio overview and fee-free transfer of securities to other investors.

The wallet offers you a high level of security through licensing and the possibility to reset your password in case you forget it.

ERC-20 Wallet

All digital securities issued via Cashlink are transferable with an ERC-20 compatible wallet. For the transfer, the sending person must be authenticated. This is done with a private key stored in the wallet. Only those who have this type of key can initiate a transfer. Accordingly, the private key is valuable.

The Nano S ledger is ideal for the secure storage of the private key: You generate and store your private key on a specially secured device – similar to a USB stick. The advantage is that it is never directly connected to the Internet, which makes a potential attack more difficult.

Access to your private key is protected by a PIN code. During setup, you create a recovery sheet yourself. With this sheet you can reset your PIN code in case you forgot it.

You should always keep your Ledger Nano S and your recovery sheet separately in safe places that only you have access to. For example, a safe deposit box can be used for the recovery sheet.

The Trust Wallet is the ideal mobile wallet: Your private key is stored here on your smartphone. Since Trust Wallet is compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems, you can use it with almost any smartphone. The security of the application is guaranteed by a large test community on the one hand, and on the other hand the program code has been checked for compliance with security standards.

During the setup of the wallet you create a security combination of 12 words. If you have lost your smartphone or forgotten your PIN code, you can use this security combination to access your wallet and assign a new PIN code.
